Celebrate Mother’s Day in its original spirit—promoting peace—at the Peace Education Center’s Third Annual Mother’s Day for Peace fundraiser.

Enjoy an evening of music from Sistrum, Lansing’s premier treble choir, and a special appearance by Julia Ward Howe, who first proposed Mother’s Day as a call for peace after the Civil War.

Proceeds benefit both the Peace Education Center and HEAL Palestine, a nonprofit delivering health, education, aid, and leadership in response to the crisis in Gaza. Learn more about HEAL
